Playing on MAK Games
How the board, menus, trading, timers and bots work here.
Making a move
The right-hand panel (below the board on phones) lists what you can do right now. Pick an action, then tap one of the highlighted spots on the board. When the game needs a choice from you, like placing a settlement, moving the robber or discarding, the spots light up on their own.
- Pinch or scroll to zoom, and drag to move the board. The ⤢ button fits it back on screen.
- Your hand shows your resources and cards. Tap a development card to play it.
- The player strip at the top shows everyone's points, hand size and special cards. A badge pops up when someone's hand changes.
- The Log tab lists everything that happened; Chat talks to the table.
Trading
Open Trade from the action panel. Choose what you give and what you want:
- Bank trades happen immediately at your best rate (4:1, or your harbor's rate).
- Player offers go to everyone (or one player). Others accept or decline, and you pick who to trade with.
Timers and bots
If the host turned on a turn timer, a countdown shows whose move it is. When it runs out, a bot makes that move for the player. If someone leaves, a bot takes their seat until they come back.
Fair play
Every move is checked by the server, and you only ever receive what your seat may see: other players' hands and the decks stay hidden.
